Lesson Plans
The Center for Adult English Language Acquisition
Provides resources for ESL adult education and family literacy instruction. Includes responses to Frequently Asked Questions, a first-day orientation guide, lesson plans, research-to-practice papers on English language and literacy learning, and an annotated list of English and Spanish language assessments in use.

NCRTec Lesson Planning Site
Assists in the writing of focused lesson plans. Users enter their own content and by answering questions are guided through the creation of Lesson plans which address assessment, content, teaching strategies and the use of technology.

North Central Regional Educational Laboratory (NCREL)

Skillswise is the BBC website for adults who want to improve their basic skills in reading, writing and math. Please note: Focused on British curriculum and materials, so some spellings and pronunciations may need adjusted.

NALD is a single-source, comprehensive, up-to-date and easily accessible database of adult literacy programs, resources, services and activities across Canada. Activities link to materials for practioners, researchers and learners. Great resource for any tutor working with adults. There are tons of learner writings on the site.
